Our professional upholstery cleaning service will leave your soft furnishings thoroughly clean, sanitised, conditioned and smelling lovely and fresh. During the cleaning process we remove stains, soil and grease from the fabric. Our cleaning detergent will thoroughly sanitises the fabric to eliminate any harmful bacteria and unpleasant odours

Our cleaning products are made from natural, plant based ingredients which have been specially formulated to ensure that no residue gets left behind to prevent rapid re-soiling. The only things we leave behind are soft, beautifully clean soft furnishings which should remain looking this way for a considerable length of time

Our Step by Step Upholstery Cleaning Process

Step 1)  Pre Clean Inspection: The first thing we do is carry out an inspection of the upholstery you would like to have cleaned. We will identify the type of fabric it’s made from, check the backing material and the level of soiling. After we have carried out our inspection we will then be able to work out the most effective cleaning method and the best products to use

Step 2)  Power Vacuuming: We will thoroughly vacuum your upholstery using a high powered vacuum cleaner which has a HEPA filter and rotating brush. Prior to vacuuming we brush the fabric using a soft clothes brush, this helps to release soiling which will enable us to extract as much dust, grit and other dry soil as possible before we apply any solutions on to the fabric we are cleaning

Step 3) Stubborn Stain Treatment: We treat stubborn stains with the appropriate pre-spray solution. Our pre-spray breaks-down the particles that form the stains making them easier to remove during the hot water extraction stage of the cleaning process

Step 4)  Pre-Clean Treatment: Once we have treated the stubborn stains we will then apply the most appropriate pre-spray for the type of fabric and level of soiling, this will break-down any remaining soil and helps to draw it to the surface of the fabric. Our pre-spray treatment will kill any harmful bacteria, dust mites and carpet moths, it will also thoroughly sanitises the fibres and eliminates odours

Step 5)  Hot Water Extraction Cleaning: We use a top of the range hot water extraction machine filled with hot water and a citric acid rinse aid to jet solution deep into the fabric fibres. The solution jet is followed by a high powered vacuum which instantly extracts soil and solution from the fibres. The citric acid rinse aid we add to the water ensures we remove all of our pre-spray solution from the fibres, leaving your upholstery fabric feeling soft, conditioned and free from any sticky residue

Step 6) Setting the fabric fibres / Customer inspection: During the final stage of our cleaning process we groom your upholstery using a specially designed brush to restore, plump up and sets the fibres, this results in a detailed, finished look.

We will then ask you to inspect the work we have done to make sure you are satisfied. We will provide you with some advice on the best way to maintain your upholstery, along with tips on how to effectively remove stains from the fabric using the appropriate products

Optional Extras

Blast Drying: After we have thoroughly cleaned your upholstery we can blast dry the fabric using a heated, blast dryer. We can get your fabric completely dry so it ready for you to use straight away

Stain Shield Treatment: After we have thoroughly cleaned and dried your upholstery we can apply a polymer stain shield, this will act as an invisible barrier against a majority of household stains including coffee and red wine. The stain shield will also helps to reduce wear, prevent U.V bleaching and makes dry soil easier to remove when carrying out your regular routine vacuuming

Our Cleaning Products

Eco products 1.jpg

The cleaning products we use are made from natural ingredients, they are fully biodegradable and completely non-toxic to people, pets and even plants. Our products have the same PH as water which makes them gentle on fibres and kind to your skin.

With so many people now suffering from MCS, (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity) due to the introduction of over 80,000 mostly untested synthetic chemicals since the 1950s, you now have a superior green option with our cleaning service as we use this exciting new advancement in micellar technology. And if all that is still not good enough, it will not cost you any more and it can out-clean almost any other detergent on the market

How can it be safe and clean so well?  Great question. Size matters and in this case small matters. With a particle size of about 20 hydrogen atoms, this incredibly small size allows our detergent to penetrate hydrocarbons, oils, and other sticky substances. Because of such a small molecular size, our detergent can easily get inside to break apart and dissolve oily and sticky materials much faster than traditional chemicals which have a much larger molecule size and can get stuck on the outside of the substance.

Our detergent uses Micelles which are tiny particles formed by the spherical arrangement of soap molecules (called surfactants) when mixed with water. Micelles are what make soap work. They do three things. They separate organic compounds like urine, oil, grease and dirt from fibres and then break them down in to smaller components. Then they do an amazing thing: they gobble them up and attract then in to their cores. This encapsulation of the contaminants allows them to be easily washed away without them redepositing on to the fibres

We look forward to giving you your quote and beginning the cleaning process. Just sit back and let us do the work. We’ll be done quickly so you can enjoy your great looking, freshly-cleaned interior environment
