Our Upholstery Cleaning Process
Step 1 — Pre‑Clean Inspection
We begin with a detailed inspection of your upholstery. We identify the type of fabric, assess the backing material, and evaluate the level of soiling. This enables us to work out the safest and most effective cleaning method, along with the best products to use
Step 2 — Power Vacuuming
We thoroughly vacuum your upholstery using a high‑powered vacuum, equipped with a HEPA filter. Prior to vacuuming, we gently brush the fabric with a soft brush to help loosen any trapped soil. We aim to remove as much dust, grit, and other dry soil as possible before we apply any cleaning solutions on to the fabric
Step 3 — Stubborn Stain Treatment
We treat stubborn stains with the most appropriate solution. This solution breaks down the particles that form the stains, making them easier to remove during the hot water extraction stage
Step 4 — Pre‑Clean Treatment
We apply the most suitable pre‑spray on to all the fabric. This treatment breaks down the remaining soil and helps to draw it to the surface. The pre-spray also sanitises the fibres to eliminate bacteria and neutralise odours
Step 5 — Hot Water Extraction Cleaning
Using a top‑of‑the‑range hot water extraction machine, we inject hot water and a citric‑acid rinse aid deep into the fabric. The machine's high power vacuum extracts the solution along with any soil from the fabric. The citric‑acid rinse aid ensures all of the pre‑spray residue is removed, leaving your upholstery soft, conditioned, and free of any detergent residue
Step 6 — Setting the fibres & Customer Inspection
To finish, we groom the fabric with a special brush which lifts, restores, and set the fibres. This gives the fabric a beautifully refined, even appearance. We will then invite you to inspect our work to ensure you are satisfied. We will also provide you with expert advice on how to maintain your upholstery and the best way to remove any future stains
Optional Extras
Blast Drying
Once the cleaning has been completed, we can dry the fabric using a heated blast dryer. This will enable you to use your upholstery straight away, so no more waiting for hours before you are able to use your upholstery
Stain Shield Treatment
After cleaning and drying the fabric, we can apply a polymer stain shield. This is an invisible barrier which will protect the fibres against most household spills — including coffee and red wine — it also helps to reduces wear, prevent UV fading and makes dry soil easier to remove during routine vacuuming

So how can something so safe clean so effectively? It all comes down to size. Our detergent contains particles roughly the size of 20 hydrogen atoms. This incredibly small molecular structure allows it to penetrate hydrocarbons, oils, and sticky residues far more easily than conventional chemicals, which often have larger molecules that struggle to break through. The smaller the particle, the deeper and faster it can clean.
Our detergent works using micelles — tiny spherical structures formed by surfactant molecules when mixed with water. Micelles are the secret behind how soap works. They do three things:

• They break these contaminants down into smaller components.
• They encapsulate them inside their cores, preventing redepositing and allowing everything to be rinsed away cleanly and safely.
